was relocated to Nakanoshima in 2004. The exhibitions are world class, excellently curated, and relevant.
Averaging a turnover about 4 times a year and usually 2 exhibitions are held at the same time.
Nakanoshima has been the center of economy and culture in Osaka since the Edo period when it was referred to as "The Nation's Kitchen"
MAISON D'ART and many other galleries are located in Nakanoshima. With the 30th anniversary of The National Museum of Art,Osaka. The galleries and museums in the Nakanoshima area worked together to hold "Nakanoshima Art Festival 2007-2008". It really is in an ideal art area as well.

And every autumn "Festival of sculpturs" is held @ UTSUBO PARK.
