from the Board Chair
(Sent: Wednesday, November 13, 2019 9:06 AM, Japan time)
Dear APMAA 2019 Board Members,
Thank you very much for attending and supporting the APMAA
2019 held in Qatar, November 2-5. The 15th
anniversary conference completed in a great success. It
could attract a record number of paper submissions and
attendees. The conference organizer brought new ideas,
experiments and schemes. One example is the Qatar Airwaysf
promotion (discount) code. I really appreciate the long-time
efforts, hard work and dedication of the 2019 conference
organizing committee members led by Dr Mohammed Elgammal,
Dean Adam Fadlallah and Former Dean Khalid Al-Abdulqader at
College of Business and Economics.
Today I would like to provide you three news about what
APMAA headquarters is tackling with currently. Firstly, we
began to organize the 2020 APMAA board. APMAA is a voluntary
academic association and has been operated fully by the
goodwill of board members and steering committee members. I
encourage you to join the 2020 board if you will commit
APMAA activities by spending a certain amount of time and
energy to share a variety of APMAA tasks.
Secondly, APMAA plans to hold a Research Project Meeting in
the 2020 conference. The meeting will discuss about the
feasibility of starting new research projects. To strengthen
the sustainability of APMAA, we held four meetings in the
APMAA 2029, i.e., Board of Directors Meeting, Next
Conference Organizers Meeting, APMAJ Meeting and Executive
Meeting. We look forward to receiving your constructive
proposals to this meeting. Letfs produce research outputs
toward the APMAAf 20th Foundation Anniversary.
APMAA is looking for more future annual conference venues.
In the 2019 Doha Board Meeting, UiTM (Malaysia, 2020),
Trisakti University (Indonesia, 2021) and Dhurakij Pundit
University (Thailand, 2022) presented fascinating proposals.
I have heard that several other universities are exploring
the possibility of hosting an APMAA future conference.
Please look at conference guidelines at
Do not hesitate to contact me if you are thinking of hosting
a future annual conference.
Letfs walk the APMAA journey together. Thank you.
