AHCC activates natural killer cell

Professor Masatoshi YAMAZAKI, who is researching food pharmacology at TEIKYO University, introduced me to AHCC.

Dr. YAMAZAKI found the ability of controlling or accelerating tumor necrosis is the factor TNF-alpha in foods.

If a lot of TNF-alpha is released, the anti-tumor effect will be high. It means that small cancers possibly disappear when eating foods that greatly accelerate TNF-alpha. On the contrary, he proved by his research that if somebody eats a lot of foods that inhibit TNF-alpha, that person will get cancer easily.

I agree with him. After multiple drug immunity treatment had been called off, my theme of cancer treatment was to find a food which accelerates TNF-alpha a lot. And I have also researched ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease so I was looking for a suitable dietetic therapy. Conversely, I was looking for a food that controls TNF-alpha.

I attended an immunity academy in Kumamoto. Dr. YAMAZAKI made an announcement about a food that accelerates and controls TNF-alpha. When I heard his announcement, I was impressed. While waiting my announcement, I asked Dr. YAMAZAKI to talk with me.

Dr. YAMAZAKI said, " I've heard of you, Mr. YAGITA." I was very surprised because I thought that I'd never met him before.

Dr. YAMAZAKI explained.

When I'd been giving a lecture on multiple drug immunity treatment all over the country, Dr. DENHICHI MIZUNO, who was chief of the Cytology-engineering Center in TEIKYO University (at the time), asked me to give a lecture on the TNF-alpha acid gene. So I did.

Dr. MIZUNO had also studied the treatment of cancer using TNF-alpha in university, so he asked me to give a lecture about that. Dr. YAMAZAKI had attended my lecture. At the time Dr. YAMAZAKI listened to my lecture, I listened to his lecture, because by coincidence we both had a similar theme regarding TNF-alpha.

By the way I've continued to study incurable diseases. I took part in a Ministry of Health and Welfare laboratory for ulcerative colitis, and I studied cancer. For both of these, it's the same regarding " immunity", but immune activation drugs have quite different features for cancer and incurable disease.

If a lot of TNF-alpha is released, it will act positively for cancer, because of its anti-tumor effect. But for incurable disease, it will act negatively, because a lot of TNF-alpha can cause an auto immune disease like ulcerative colitis, and Crohn's disease.

So Dr. YAMAZAKI has given a lecture on diet and disease for incurable disease patients, Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis and Behcet disease.

Foods that releases a lot of TNF-alpha, are radish, ginger and horseradish. A food that doesn't release TNFalpha is the leaf of the beefsteak plant.

When we eat slices of raw fish, we eat radish, ginger and horseradish as a relish on the beefsteak plant.

In the EDO era, there was no refrigerator. But there were only a few poisonings even though people ate slices of raw fish, because radish, ginger and horseradish sterilize the body. After all, these foods release a lot of TNF-alpha, and sterilize the intestines.

But only eating a food which releases a lot of TNF-alpha, stimulates the intestines too much and creates auto immune disease. So lastly, we eat beefsteak plant as a food that controls TNF-alpha. That's why if we eat slices of raw fish, we don't have an excess stimulus and can keep the body constant. This is a wonderful idea of the Japanese.

Thus, the people who have cancer should not eat beefsteak plant, because it controls TNF-alpha. He said " The people who have ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease have to eat a meal that controls TNFalpha."

And actually, I extracted an essence which controls TNF-alpha, and I gave it to my patients. It had an effect.

In this way, I've been associating with Dr. YAMAZAKI. One day, we attended the same cancer academy and he asked me to use AHCC for treatment of cancer.

Dr. YAMAZAKI 's major is basic medicine, so although he recognizes the effect of AHCC by a biological test, he can't use AHCC in a clinic.

So he visited me with Mr. KENICHI KOSUNA who was the president of Amino-up KAGAKU that makes AHCC and beefsteak plant extract.

At the time, I knew that AHCC activates a natural killer cell from the information given in a lecture by Dr. GOHNAM in the USA. But I didn't adhere to that, because AHCC was not the only one to activate a natural killer cell.

I've heard that AHCC is a mushroom. The SPG and krestin, I have used for multiple drug immunity treatment were SUEHIROTAKE mushroom and KAWARATAKE mushroom, so I've been thinking that the various active effects depend on the kind of mushroom.

But the effect of AHCC is a more important matter than the examination of its action. Then I tested its use and saw a remarkable effect, so I began to use it for real.

Using AHCC is not related to Dr. YAMAZAKI 's request. I don't use ineffective things for a patient even if somebody asks me to, and I use effective things positively even if nobody asks.

Thus, I could use AHCC.
